Revealed: Meath sisters' syndicate which won staggering €175m EuroMillions jackpot - Irish Mirror
A family of six sisters have scooped Ireland's record-breaking EuroMillions jackpot.
The Irish Mirror can exclusively reveal that the siblings meet every Sunday to play the Lotto - and finally hit it big last night.
And it is the second time fortune has hit the family after a sister of Charlie Sheridan - the husband of one of Tuesday's multi-millionaire sisters, won over IR£600,000 years ago in the National Lottery.
A relative of one of the six sisters that have won €175 million has said the huge win has yet to sink in.
Charlie's wife Kathleen from Ryan's Park in Duleek, Co Meath is toasting her incredible luck with her five other siblings today.
A relative said:"She is a very kind person, she will probably look after her family, she has sons and daughters and five grandchildren".
The family celebrated last night before making contact with the National Lottery this morning.
Each sister will get over €29 million each.
"It's brilliant for the community, they're a very big family, all aged in their 50s and 60s and are well known and liked in the community," said one local.
