But speaking to the Irish Sun, the newly minted Lotto clan have pledged not to lose the plotto.
Multimillionaire sisters Kathleen Sheridan and Christine Rogers yesterday joined their jackpot-sharing siblings for a family lunch.
The EuroMillions winners first held an hour-long meeting at the Bracken Court Hotel in Balbriggan, north Co Dublin, as they discussed their financial bonanza.
The loaded family syndicate then enjoyed a carvery in the hotel's dining area.
On the menu yesterday was roast crown of turkey priced at €12.50 for a full portion, €9.50 for a half-portion and €8.50 for seniors.
Also served up was honey glazed ham at €12.50 a plate, chicken curry at €12, spicy pasta at €12 and tomato and basil soup for €4.75.
And just before they tucked into the competitively priced grub, the history-making jackpot scoopers vowed to stay "grounded".
Delighted Kathleen told the Irish Sun: "We will have a bit to eat but there will be no big parties yet."
Five sisters and four brothers — who live close to each other in villages in north Co Dublin and Meath — will share the bumper pot.
The syndicate only had six members but they are set to give their other siblings a cut.
Stunned relatives have left their lucky ticket with National Lottery officials for safekeeping until the claim is paid out.
And as they wait to collect their mega loot, Kathleen says the group are still in "a daze".
She declared: "We don't know what we are thinking, we have a lot to take in. It's hard to come to terms with it.
"The National Lottery have to tell us (when the money is ready), we don't know — it has to come in from all the countries."
Down-to-earth Kathleen lives in a modest terraced house in Duleek, Co Meath, valued around €150,000 and she arrived to yesterday's family gathering in a Mazda 2.
But while new house hunting could be on the agenda, the mum insisted she would stay close to her other relatives.
She said: "Ah Jesus, we won't be going far . . . we have it all."
The EuroMillions siblings — who reside in villages including Naul, Bellewstown and Duleek — meet every Sunday and hit it big after losing two brothers last year.
As Lotto mania grips the close-knit clan, delirious Christine joined her sister Kathleen in declaring how they "would stick together".
She said: "We're all in the local area. We are a very close family. We are a very grounded family, a very close family, we won't be moving anywhere far."
Christine also told how the lucky winners would look after their entire clan — starting with sharing the bonanza with siblings who were not in the syndicate.
And speaking of their joy, she revealed the family would attend a press conference when the prize is paid out. Christine said: "We want a little bit of privacy for the moment but we will be doing (a press conference).
"It's great that it is all one family. There is six of us, we are splitting (the money) between nine of us."
As the Irish Sun congratulated the family yesterday, Christine beamed: "Thank you very much!"
It's the second time fortune has hit the family after a sister of Charlie Sheridan — Kathleen's husband — trousered over IR£600,000 years ago in the National Lottery.
They frantically checked their numbers online after hearing on the news that the jackpot had been landed in Ireland.
A family spokesperson said: "We know this is a huge story and there is great excitement over this win.
"We need time to let this news sink in and to prepare to collect our winnings. We are a normal family and we don't want this to dramatically change our lives."
Most of the family group are retired and are looking forward to having time to enjoy their winnings. They are described as "a well-known" and "well liked" family in Naul who have been in the area for two generations.
The lucky shop that sold the €175m ticket was Reilly's Daybreak on Main Street in Naul. Shop owner Les Reilly, who lands a €25,000 bonus for selling the winner, pledged to throw a party.
He told the Irish Sun: "I'm over the moon, it will put the place on the map. We will have a shindig. We can't believe it. I'm over the moon for the winners.
"The buzz is great, we never sold a big jackpot one before. We've been waiting on the big one."
Reilly also told of the moment he learned his business had sold the lucky ticket. He said: "When the National Lottery rang me, my legs went to jelly and I had to go down the back and puke my ring up, that was my honest reaction . . . and then we jumped around the place.
"There are 11 countries in Europe doing the EuroMillions and our little village of 1,100 — and we sell the winning ticket."
National Lottery spokesperson Miriam Donohoe revealed Ireland's newest multimillionaires were "surprisingly calm" and "very together" when they called the office.
Ms Donohoe said that the National Lottery is "now guiding the winner through the process".
Meanwhile, National Lottery CEO, Dermot Griffin, congratulated the family on the record breaking win.
He said: "Happy days like this is what playing National Lottery games is all about. We are just so pleased for the family and that this huge amount is being shared out."

He added: "This is a historic day in the life of the National Lottery with the biggest every payout from a draw based game since we were established in 1987."
The massive prize beats the €115m bagged by Limerick woman Dolores McNamara on the EuroMillions in 2005.
It comes after Co Down couple Francis and Patrick Connolly won €130m on the EuroMillions on New Year's Day.
