Police are investigating after a man was shot in the back early Tuesday morning in Bridgeton.
The 21-year-old was entering a unit at Amity Heights apartment complex on Pamphylia Avenue around 1:30 a.m. when he was struck by gunfire, according to Bridgeton Police.
He was taken to a hospital and was listed in critical but stable condition, police confirmed Tuesday afternoon.
No description of a suspect was provided to police.
