A man was “gravely” wounded in a shooting Wednesday afternoon in Oakland on the South Side.
The shooting happened about 3:25 p.m. in the 3500 block of South Cottage Grove Avenue, Chicago fire officials said.
A man in his 20s was transported to the University of Chicago Medical Center in “grave condition,” officials said.
Chicago police could not immediately provide details about the shooting.
