SUMMIT TWP., MI — A man was injured Friday night in a shooting at a Summit Township apartment complex.
Officers responded to Foxfire Apartments on Hickory Court for a shots fired report around 10:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 27, according to Wayne Bisard, captain of patrol services for the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office. A blood trail was found in the parking lot and followed back to an apartment, which was secured, Bisard said.
Shortly after, a 28-year-old man arrived at HFA Hospital with multiple gunshot wounds, according to Bisard. The victim - who Bisard said was not cooperative during the investigation - is in stable condition and his injuries are not considered to be life-threatening, Bisard said.
No other information was available, according to Bisard. The incident remains under investigation.
