GRAND BLANC TOWNSHIP, MI - A 3-year-old is in critical condition after police say the child discharged a firearm found in a bedroom.
Officers were dispatched to Maplebrook Condominiums in Grand Blanc Township at approximately 4:16 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 26, for a shooting. Upon arrival, officer discovered a child with a gunshot wound to the head.
The child was taken to a local hospital for treatment and is currently in critical condition, according to police.
There were no other injuries. The investigation is ongoing.
