FLINT, MI – A 39-year-old man was critically injured after he was shot late Wednesday night at a Flint apartment complex.
Officers with the Flint Police Department responded around 11:45 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 18, to the 2500 block of Devon Lane in the Evergreen Regency apartment complex off Lippincott Boulevard for a report of a personal injury crash.
Upon their arrival, police discovered the victim in the parking lot and developed a scene. He’d suffered a gunshot wound, per a Flint Police Department news release.
The victim, whose name has not been released, was transported to Hurley Medical Center for treatment of his injuries. He was listed in critical condition by medical personnel.
No suspect information was immediately available from Flint police.
The shooting incident remains under investigation by the Flint Major Case Unit, consisting of Flint police and Michigan State Police detectives.
