ALLENTOWN, Pa. - A man is in critical condition and three others were hurt in a shooting in the area of the Hamilton Tower apartment building Sunday evening.
Police responded to the 400 block of W. Maple Street shortly after 6 p.m., according to a news release from Allentown police. Arriving officers found a 31-year-old man who had been shot. He was treated on scene and taken to the hospital, where he is listed in critical condition, police said.
Three other shooting victims arrived at area hospitals. They are listed in stable condition and are expected to survive their injuries, police said. The investigation is ongoing.The Lehigh County District Attorney’s Office is assisting city police in the investigation.
