Schenectady gunshot victim in critical condition - Times Union

SCHENECTADY — A woman is in critical condition after being shot Sunday morning.

Schenectady police received a call from Albany and Hamlin streets around 6:20 a.m. reporting a shooting. Upon arrival to the scene, they found a female victim suffering from a gunshot wound and transported her to a local hospital.

Police did not have information Sunday morning on where the victim sustained the gunshot wound.

Sgt. Matt Dearing said the location officers were called to is not necessarily where the shooting occurred. There is no suspect in custody.
