One person is in serious condition following a Thursday morning shooting near the intersection of Hall and Fern Street in Opelousas.
Opelousas Police say they were called to the incident at around 12:30 am on July 2.
Upon arrival, officers say they found one male victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
Police say the victim was unable to provide any information about the suspect before being transported to a local hospital.
He remains hospitalized in serious condition, according to the department.
