NEW MILFORD — One person was taken to the hospital in critical condition Friday afternoon following a crash on Route 202.
First responders were called to a motorcycle accident with injuries near Northville Market on Litchfield Road around 1:20 p.m.
Minutes later, police reported that CPR was being performed on someone at the scene who had gone into “trauma arrest,” according to dispatch reports.
It is unclear if more than one vehicle was involved in the crash.
Additional manpower was requested, and access to Route 202 was blocked off at Little Bear Hill and Big Bear Hill roads.
One person was en route to Danbury Hospital on trauma alert by 1:37 p.m., according to dispatch reports.
