KALAMAZOO, MI — A 30-year-old Grand Junction man is in critical condition in a Kalamazoo hospital after a late-night stabbing in Van Buren County.
The man was stabbed multiple times, according to a news release from the Van Buren County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies responded to an address in the 55000 block of County Road 384 in Columbia Township at about 11 p.m. July 14 on a report of the incident, the release states.
A 25-year-old Fennville man was later arrested with assistance from the Allegan County Sheriff’s Office and is currently lodged at the Van Buren County Jail, awaiting arraignment on multiple felony charges, the release states.
The victim, who was transported by a personal vehicle to Bronson South Haven Hospital for emergency treatment, was later transferred to Bronson Methodist Hospital Kalamazoo, where he is listed in critical condition, the release states.
The man’s injuries are not believed to be life threatening, the release states.
