AKRON, Ohio -- A man was hospitalized in critical condition after someone shot him early Tuesday in a home on Akron’s West Side, according to police.
Officers responded around 4:30 a.m. Tuesday to a home on the 700 block of Seward Avenue, where they found a 32-year-old man inside with an apparent gunshot to his abdomen, according to a police report. Paramedics brought him to Cleveland Clinic Akron General.
Akron police Lt. Michael Miller said in a news release that the investigation is on-going, and that no suspect information was available.
