A man was shot near Fairpark on Saturday night, and Salt Lake City police are still looking for suspects.
First responders found the victim inside a vehicle near 25 North Redwood Road at around 5:30 p.m. Saturday night. The man had a “shooting-related injury” and he was taken to the hospital in serious condition, according to a news release from the Salt Lake City Police Department.
Police believe the suspect(s) shot the man from their own vehicle, then fled the area.
Officers are investigating two crime scenes associated with the shooting: one at North Temple and North Cornell and the other at 1530 West North Temple. Officials did not say how these two locations were connected to the shooting and did not have a suspect description.
The shooting is under investigation, and anyone with information should contact SLCPD at 801-799-3000, according to the release.
