WYOMING, MI – A female was hospitalized in critical condition after being strangled Wednesday, police say.
Wyoming police officers responded at about 1:18 a.m. on Nov 10 to the 4700 block of Vancouver Avenue, to assist with a medical call, according to a release from the Wyoming Department of Public Safety.
An investigation revealed a female at the location had been strangled, police said. She was taken to a local hospital and is currently in critical condition.
A suspect in the alleged assault has been taken into custody, according to the release. Detectives are still investigating the circumstances surrounding this incident.
The names of the victim, suspect and potential changes are not being released at this time, police said.
