FLINT, MI -- A 65-year-old man is listed in critical condition after he was hit by a car while crossing a street in Flint Sunday, according to police.
The crash occurred shortly before 10:30 p.m. Sunday, June 6, at Martin Luther King Avenue and West Lorado Avenue.
The on-scene investigation showed the victim was walking across Martin Luther King Avenue heading east when he was struck by a black Jeep traveling south on Martin Luther King Avenue, according to a Flint Police Department news release.
The driver of the black Jeep remained on scene and is cooperating with the investigation.
The 65-year-old man suffered head trauma and was transported to Hurley Medical Center, police said. He was listed in critical condition.
Police do not believe speed, alcohol or drugs were a factor in this crash.
