FLINT, MI - A man is in critical condition after being shot in the shoulder just after midnight Sunday, according to a news release from the Flint Police Department.

Officers responded to reports of a man who had been shot in the area of Saginaw and Kearsley streets, according to the release. When they arrived, they found a man in his 20′s with a gunshot wound in his upper shoulder. The man was taken to Hurley Medical Center and is listed in critical condition.

Police continue to investigate the shooting incident, which they have determined occurred near the intersection of Tenth and Martin Luther King avenues. The department asked anyone with information on the shooting to call Detective Trooper Keith Bieganski at (810) 701-0364 or contact Crime Stoppers anonymously at 1-800-422-JAIL or CrimeStoppersofFlint.com.
