Texas EquuSearch founder and director Tim Miller was hospitalized Saturday with a "serious health condition," the organization revealed Tuesday.

Miller underwent surgery and has another procedure planned in the next few days. They didn't disclose the specific medical condition but said it required immediate attention, according to a Facebook post.

"We know that Tim’s health and well-being are of great concern to many of you, and he greatly appreciates each and every one of you," the post read. "Please keep Tim, his family, and the amazing medical team in charge of his care, in your thoughts and prayers this week."

The group says they expect Miller to make a full recovery.

Miller founded the volunteer organization in 2000 after his daughter, Laura Miller, was abducted and murdered. The group helps find missing people throughout Greater Houston and beyond, often playing an integral role in bringing closure to families with missing loved ones.
