DETROIT – A 21-year-old woman, who was a passenger in a vehicle that crashed into a semi-trailer and became wedged beneath it, is in critical condition with a head injury, WDIV Local 4 reports.
The crash occurred around 3:20 a.m. on Thursday in the area of Waterman and Fort streets in Detroit. A man and woman were riding in a Tesla, police said. The male driver allegedly drove through an intersection and crashed into the semi-trailer, causing the vehicle to become wedged under it.
The woman was taken to a local hospital where she is listed in critical condition, police said. The condition of the man is unknown. Their identities have not been released. The crash remains under investigation.
