DEKALB, Ind. (Fort Wayne's NBC) - Two people are in critical condition after a crash that happened on I-69 in Dekalb County early Saturday morning.
Police responded to a personal injury accident at about 1:14 a.m. on I-69 in Dekalb County near mile marker 324.
According to police, a vehicle was traveling northbound on the highway at a high rate of speed when they rear-ended another vehicle causing an accident.
Police say the impact caused the other vehicle to roll and come to a stop on the entrance ramp of the highway.
According to police, both drivers are in critical condition and both vehicles were totaled.
At this time, police say alcohol is believed to be a factor.
This incident remains under investigation.
