HARTFORD — One person was critically wounded in a shooting in the city over the weekend, according to police.
Around 6 p.m. Saturday, patrol officers responded to the 300 block of Wethersfield Avenue for a 911 call about a person shot.
Police said officers found a male victim in a vehicle who had been shot multiple times. The victim was rushed to an area hospital for treatment. Police said he was in critical condition.
“It is unknown at this time what led up to the shooting,” police said.
The investigation is ongoing.
