CLEVELAND, Ohio -- Obesity is near the top of a list of underlying conditions that exponentially increase your risk of severe COVID illness, hospitalization or death. But Ohio’s vaccination protocol for phases 1b and 1c excludes obesity, along with COPD, smoking and other conditions that could be considered lifestyle choices.
