A man is recovering in the hospital Tuesday night after being stabbed at a residence in Salt Lake City, police confirmed to 2News.
Police believe an altercation led up to the stabbing at 6 p.m. near 160 S. Hawkes Court, said Det. Michael Ruff with the Salt Lake City Police Department. The victim was critically injured.
A suspect is in custody, Ruff said. Their identity had not been made public at the time of this report.
Police are still investigating, and Ruff said he couldn't immediately provide any additional information.
