FLINT, MI -- A 15-year-old is in critical condition after a shooting early Sunday morning in Flint.
Officers with the Flint Police Department responded to the area of Myrtle Avenue and Trumbull Drive shortly after 3 a.m. a.m. Sunday, Feb. 28, for a shooting incident.
Police found bullets were fired into both an occupied residence in the 4000 block of Leerda Street as well as an abandoned stolen vehicle parked on Myrtle Avenue, Michigan State Police Lt. Liz Rich. said
The 15-year-old male was found shot outside of the home, she said. He had been walking in the area when the shooting began.
He transported to Hurley Medical Center and listed in critical condition, per a Flint police news release. The victim’s name has not been released.
No suspects are in custody.
The shooting incident remains under investigation.
