A senior at Stoney Creek High School has been critically injured while attempting to cross Tienken Road in Rochester Hills.
The Oakland County Sheriff’s Department reports the Rochester Hills girl was struck by a car Monday, Oct. 18, around 2:36 p.m. She was taken to a local hospital and remains in critical condition as of Tuesday, Oct. 19.
The driver, a 16-year-old Stoney Creek junior from Shelby Township, was not injured.
Investigators do not believe drugs or alcohol were factors in the crash.
The incident remains under investigation.
