A man in his 50s is in critical condition Monday night after crashing to the ground near the Saltair, west of Salt Lake.
The man was operating a self-propelled single-seat paraglider when he crashed, said Manfred Lassig with the Unified Police Department.
Emergency medical crews were able to reach him and he was taken by air ambulance to a local hospital.
More information about what happened was not immediately available at the time of this report. A 2News crew is en route to the scene.
