KALAMAZOO, MI — Police are investigating a shooting that occurred Sunday evening in the city’s Northside neighborhood, leaving a 25-year-old resident wounded.
Kalamazoo Public Safety officers responded to the 1000 block of Interfaith Boulevard, west of Woodward Avenue, at 6:31 p.m., Sunday, May 30 following a report of a shooting, a release from the department states.
The victim was not located at the scene, but while officers were investigating, they learned the victim had arrived at a nearby hosptial and was being treated. The victim is listed in stable condition, the release states.
No suspects have been identified in the incident.
