FLINT, MI -- A man is in critical condition after he was shot over the weekend in Flint.

Officers with the Flint Police Department responded shortly after 3 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 6 to the intersection of Lippincott Boulevard and South Dort Highway for a report of a shooting incident.

They discovered the victim, a 52-year-old man, inside a vehicle with a gunshot wound.

The victim, whose name has not been released, was transported to Hurley Medical Center where he was listed in critical condition by medical personnel.

A male suspect left the scene in a silver passenger vehicle, according to police.

This investigation is ongoing. Flint police did not disclose additional details.
