SOUTH BURLINGTON, Vt. (WCAX) A 25-year-old accused of stabbing his father multiple times at a Vermont hotel is expected in court Monday.
Jessie Shaw is being held without bail and charged with aggravated domestic assault.
South Burlington Police say he stabbed Kenneth Shaw multiple times over the weekend while at the Anchorage Inn.
"The victim in this case sustained some serious lacerations with what is believed to have been a knife, and the suspect was then taken to UVM Medical Center as well for evaluation," said Chief Shawn Burke.
Vermont State Police crime scene investigators collected evidence and processed the scene Sunday morning.
WCAX called the hospital Monday morning and they say Kenneth is in critical condition.
The investigation is still ongoing.
