WELLS COUNTY, Ind. (WPTA21) - A child is in critical condition Thursday after she was pulled from a pond.
Indiana Conservation Officers say the girl, whose age and name haven't been released, was swimming in a private pond on South Ohio Street, in Keystone, when she went under water.
Someone called 911, and a member of the Liberty Center Volunteer Fire Department pulled the girl from 8-13 feet of water, after about 20 minutes.
She was taken by ambulance to a hospital and was last said to be in critical condition.
