A man is dead following a shooting in Rochester late Monday night.
Officers responded to a report of shots fired on Hague Street, north of Jay Street, around 11:45 p.m.
Police say they found no one at the scene but two people with gunshot wounds arrived at Strong Memorial Hospital after midnight.
One of the victims was dead on arrival. He has been identified as Jorge Luis Bonilla, 22, of Rochester. The other man underwent surgery and is in serious condition. His name has not been released.
The RPD Major Crimes Unit remained at the Hague Street scene for several hours.
There has been no word yet on any arrests in the case.
